|Recommended: YesNice place to live — The Republic is my first apartment I’ve lived at since going to Sam. It’s a lot nicer than other apartments I’ve seen and everything has gone smoothly, from the move in experience to settling in before classes start. One thing about the republic that would be better is how long the bus takes. That could be because it also goes to midtown as well, but walking is an option.

|Recommended: YesReview of Republic at Sam Houston — Living at the Republic is honestly pretty nice in my opinion, rent is very affordable and the amenities are also very good. The campus is not the prettiest, the buildings could use some major updating with paints and remodeling and the parking lot does have a fair deal of cracks and bumps in it, but overall it does make sense due to the amount of rent I am paying. Parking is great though, there is always a ton of spots that are fairly close to my apartment which is really convenient.

|Recommended: YesPretty Good — I've only been living here for a week but so far I have really appreciated all that is put towards my comfort and satisfaction. Staff is always kind and helpful and has made me feel so accepted in the community. Events are always going on and are super fun. Noise isn't that bad either. Only problem is that when I moved in, I had some bugs around, but they were quick to have pest control come by and take care of it. Overall, it's really amazing for a reasonable price.
